PRIVATE VOICE LESSONS

A well-respected voice instructor of all contemporary commercial vocal techniques (Pop, Jazz, R&B, Rock, Musical Theatre, Cabaret, Country, Folk, Gospel, & Rap), Scott holds a Masters of Music degree from the University of New Orleans. Cindy proudly teaches Somatic Voicework - the Lovetri Method™ in which she is Level III Certified. She has taught a myriad of professional vocalists in New Orleans, and was recently hired by Hollywood director Diablo Cody to coach Oscar Award winning actor Octavia Spencer and actor/comedian Russell Brand.

Cindy teaches voice lessons out of her home studio in New Orleans. She often manages to schedule private lessons when she is on tour, and she is happy to offer lessons via Skype if internet connection permit.

CLINICS & WORKSHOPS

Cindy regularly gives master classes for vocalists covering such topics as improvisation, style coaching, working with a band, etc. In addition, she has a new workshop specifically for vocalists called “Use What You know - Transitioning from Classical to Contemporary Styles." She has presented her workshop entitled, “Get Over Yourself - How to Perform Your Very Best Every Time” in New Orleans, Houston, and Newark, NJ to rave reviews by vocalists and instrumentalists alike.

Cindy is also an in-demand clinician and has worked with such award-winning jazz vocal groups as Davis High School Jazz Choir, Kansas City Kansas Community College Jazz Choir, and the University of Arkansas Fort Smith Vocal Jazz Ensemble.
